While at the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts in Ahmedabad, India, Anjali directed 'This Mahabharata' at

Nirja Modi School in Jaipur.

Working with approximately 500 students across all age groups, she brought Mrinalini Sarabhai's original piece to life, telling the story of the ancient Indian epic The Mahabharata as it relates to modern social justice themes in India.

The feature-length production addressed themes such as the caste system and women's empowerment.
